Frenchpulse attaches importance in protecting a person's personal data privacy and is committed to complying fully with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong.

When you use our services we may collect with your consent personal data such as name, log-in ID and password, address, email address, phone number, age, gender, date of birth, country of residence, nationality, education level and work experience that are not otherwise publicly available.
Only duly authorized staff of Frenchpulse will be permitted to access users' personal information and data, we shall not release such personal information and data to any third parties except for the circumstances listed out under the section below "Disclosure of your information".

2.1 Job seekers
We will share your information with our members where necessary in order to provide you with our recruitment services. By applying to Frenchpulse you consent to publish your online profile and send related information only to prospective employers members of Frenchpulse. We may also release information relating to you to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if required to do so.
We will not share your information to any third parties without your prior consent. Job seekers will have access to your company information given by you upon registration. They will not have access to your user's personal information unless you agree when creating your company profile and specify how you want to be reached by job seekers.
To subscribe to our newsletters, you will be required to provide your e-mail address and first name, so we can informed you by e-mail of Frenchpulse news including, but not limited to, new jobs, events, members' news, highlighted candidates, market trends, recruitment & career tips.
Should you decide that you no longer wish to receive our newsletters, unsubscribe links are provided in every email that you receive.
4. Career blog
Our blog can be accessed to anyone with no restriction. You can comment on any posts by registering your name and address email. We will not disclose your email and use it only to contact you if needed.
5. Online visitors
We gather information and statistics about all visitors to frenchpulse.com. We only use such data in the aggregate form. It helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users and how we can continually improve our users experience. We may also publish some of this information on our website.
Cookies are used on frenchpulse.com to remember your login, to track web traffic on an aggregate basis so that no individuals are identified or to keep session information such as your last search. Most browsers allow you to turn off or delete past cookies. However, switching off cookies may restrict your use of our website.
7. Data security and retention
We will strive to protect any personal data held by us against unauthorized access or processing. Our web servers are hardened, protected behind firewalls in order to prevent unauthorized access. You have the right at any time to ask us for a copy of the information supplied by you that we hold. We have the right to charge an administrative fee for this service. If you would like to make a request for information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. You also have the right at any time to ask Frenchpulse to stop using your information.
